Data Collection

• Does NOT collect any personal data
• Does NOT track your behavior
• Does NOT use analytics services
• Does NOT share data with third parties
• Does NOT require an account

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults:

• Player names - Stored locally
• Highscores - Stored locally (and optionally synced to Game Center)
• Game settings - Stored locally
• Achievements - Stored locally (and optionally synced to Game Center on iOS)
• In-App Purchase status - Managed by Apple (StoreKit)

Core gameplay data stays on your device unless you choose to enable Game Center. Optional tip jar purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit.

Game Center OPTIONAL

Timekiller offers optional Game Center integration on iOS:

• Game Center is disabled by default
• You must explicitly enable it in the app settings
• When enabled, the app uses Apple's Game Center framework to:
  • Sync your highscores to leaderboards
  • Sync your achievements
  • Display your Game Center player name
• Data shared with Game Center:
  • Your highscores (single integer value)
  • Your achievement progress (percentages)
  • No personal information beyond what Game Center already has
• Game Center is not available on watchOS
• You can disable Game Center at any time in settings
• All data is processed through Apple's Game Center servers
• Apple's Game Center Privacy Policy applies to this feature

In-App Purchases

If you use the optional tip jar:

• Transactions are handled by Apple's App Store
• Apple's Privacy Policy applies to payment processing
• Purchases do not unlock gameplay features or remove ads
• No payment data is collected by this app

Open Source

Timekiller is open source software:

• You can verify that no data is collected
• Licensed under MIT License

Children's Privacy

This app is safe for children:

• No data collection by default
• Game Center is optional and disabled by default
• No advertising
• No external links (except GitHub in settings)
• No user-generated content
• No social features beyond optional Game Center leaderboards

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
• Disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings
• Disable Game Center in the app settings
• Review the source code anytime on GitHub

This app uses only Apple's native frameworks:

• SwiftUI - User interface
• Foundation - Core functionality
• UserDefaults - Local storage
• StoreKit - In-App Purchases (handled by Apple)
• AVFoundation - Sound effects (local files only)
• CoreHaptics - Haptic feedback (device-only)
• GameKit - Game Center integration (optional, iOS only)

No third-party SDKs or tracking libraries.

Network Access

This app:

• Does NOT connect to arbitrary third-party servers
• Does NOT make network requests except for optional Apple services
• Does NOT load remote content

• Only contacts Apple servers for:
  • App Store purchase verification
  • iCloud sync (if user enables it)
  • Game Center sync (if user enables it on iOS)

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes:

• Updated version will be posted on GitHub
• "Last Updated" date will be changed
• Users will be notified in app update notes
